Key partners confirmed for Bahrain International Airshow 2022

Bahrain International Airshow has signed key partnership agreements with Batelco and the Bahrain Duty Free Company for the 2022 edition of the airshow.

Renewing their longstanding partnerships with the event, Batelco were confirmed as Strategic Headline Sponsor and the Bahrain Duty Free Company signed an agreement to become a gold sponsor for the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS), taking place on 9-11 November 2022 and bringing together the world’s leading aviation and aerospace companies.

 

His Excellency Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow, and His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors Batelco, sign Strategic Headline Sponsorship agreement for BIAS2022.

 

Batelco and the Bahrain Duty Free Company’s partnerships with the Airshow will see them join the likes of Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Lockheed Martin, UAE Space Agency, BAE Systems, Bell Helicopter, and Leonardo, who will be exhibiting at the airshow this year.

H.E. Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for Bahrain International Airshow, confirmed the key role played by the private sector in boosting the initiatives and events that promote the kingdom and attract visitors to it.

Organised by the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Airforce in association with Farnborough International, BIAS has been designed to reflect industry demands and will harness global expertise to provide thought leadership and opportunities across the leading challenges facing the aerospace sector.
