Show-on-show BIAS seeks ways to continually improve and ensure visitors truly get the most from their visit. The conference programme, running across the show’s duration, has proven a real success with insight from market leaders regarding the latest trends in an ever-progressing industry.
2022 saw conferences on the future of airports, space exploration and women in aviation. This feature provides knowledge-sharing and thought-provoking discussion. Topics and content to be discussed during BIAS 2024 will be revealed in due course.
The 2022 programme hosted four ground-breaking forums across 2 days in 2 theatres. Each forum featured a variety of keynote and panel sessions:
Airlines & Airports
Thursday, 10 November, Theatre 1
The Airlines & Airports Forum opened with a Keynote and was followed by 2 panel sessions exploring the path to NetZero and innovating the future.
*Theatre 1 also hosted the Endeavour Award Ceremony 14.00 – 15.25
Space
Thursday, 10 November, Theatre 2
The topic of conversation focused on Space with an opening Keynote and panel sessions exploring entrepreneurship opportunities and engaging future generations.
Women in Aviation
Friday, 11 November, Theatre 1
The Women in Aviation Forum opened with a session setting out the case for gender and generational equality. A Keynote speech then focuses on STEM students and MENA’S post-COVID recovery and is followed up by a panel about breaking down the barriers for women in aerospace.
Cargo and Logistics
Friday, 11 November, Theatre 2
On Friday, Theatre 2 hosted the Cargo & Logistics Forum which included sessions that explored the digitisation of businesses, the shift to e-commerce and logistics in the GCC region.
