2018 Public Highlights



2018 saw a five-hour airborne visual spectacular every day that featured aerobatic display teams, military aircraft, big civil airliners and historic legends.

BIAS18 was lucky enough to feature some fantastic attractions which offered visitors the chance to play exciting games, try their flight skills in a Flight Simulator, piloting commercial airliners, fighter jets, private planes, and helicopters.

Other attractions that featured at 2018 included:

 VR Zone: Which gave guests the opportunity to take to the skies without even leaving the room with the innovative virtual reality wing suit. It effortlessly blends a VR experience with a state of the art flight simulator. A full body suspension flight simulator and top notch VR goggles allow you to guide yourself through the sky.

Simulator Zone: The Next Level Simulator Cockpit is a professional grade flight simulator, used and tested by professional pilots and allowed visitors to take control of aircraft and experience the thrill of the hot seat.

Gaming Zone: Equipped with an Xbox and PlayStation area, the Gaming Zone created the perfect opportunity to get a little respite away from the main show displays.

Kids Area: Keeping the little ones entertained with an amusing magic show, competitions, games, face painting and rides allowed kids to learn and play.

At the 2018 Bahrain International Airshow, we were once again host to an array of live shows, musicians and entertainment for the crowds to enjoy. Featuring Banah, DJ Leil, Mo Zowayed, Khalid Fuad, Talking Drums Band, Hip Hop Dance Crew and DJ Detour, our stage acts entertained visitors throughout the Airshow.

Entertainment was all around the 2018 Bahrain International Airshow which offered the chance to see street magicians, a jump rope crew, stilt walkers, bouncing stilt robots and walkabout characters. Great for photo opportunities!

Heritage Village & Shopping

Heritage Village & Shopping

The Heritage Village at the Bahrain International Airshow offered the opportunity to experience some of Bahrain’s rich culture and history with displays of arts and crafts from around the island and region. 

Working alongside the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Heritage Village offered a range of demonstrations from pottery to dress sewing or basket weaving to traditional musical performances.
